American Blues legend Johnny Mars to play at the OWLHOUSE band charity single launch this Friday.

Devon band Owlhouse is delighted to announce that internationally acclaimed Blues musician Johnny Mars will be playing at their single launch on Friday 11th September at the Edgemoor Hotel, Bovey Tracey.  Bill Birks of Owlhouse comments "Johnny is quite simply one of the best in the industry he has played with all the greats including Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Dylan and James Brown and has just finished work on Joss Stone's new album.  We are really pleased he can be at the launch and play a few tunes with us, it's going to be great fun"

The charity launch of Owlhouse's track 'Lady of the Fair' will raise funds for injured jockey Sarah Gaisford who broke her back in racing accident in 2007.  Ashburton based song writer and musician Pat Gunning was so inspired by Sarah’s zest for life and unwavering determination that he felt compelled to capture his thoughts in the track ‘Lady of the Fair’.
