| 2011 starts with a bang! | |
2011 started with a surprise birthday party for Pat! His workmates secretly planned it all! From inviting the guests to laying on a lovely cold buffet! Bill was given the task of keeping Pat entertained and away from the studio/workshop all day! Once the guests had all arrived Bill was given the go ahead to bring Pat in… When he arrived the place was in darkness and all the doors shut! As soon as he opened the gate the doors were thrown open and the party began!!
Pat was absolutely gobsmacked! He really had no idea what was going on! …& if his face was anything to go by he was totally blown away when his workmates presented him with a vintage 1965 Gibson J45 guitar! The same model he had previously sold in 1980 to start his business! Pat gave an impromptu performance of a song he had written on the original Gibson over 40 years ago!
Amongst the party goers were Noel Harrison, Gina Griffin, Bill Birks, Sarah Gaisford - "Lady of the Fair" Mama Whiplash! and of course Pat’s workmates, family & friends. |
